There just aren't enough hours in a day...I need to be in bed at this hour but I still have things to look up on the internet, texts to send to Jacob who is on vacation in Arizona, and I just tasted some delicious banana rum from the Bahamas, so I should eat something!  The rum is wonderful...very "bananaish" and extra strong.  Thus the need for some food in the stomach.  Many thanks to Suzanne & Martin who brought the run home from their "honeymoon" in the Bahamas for Joe since he fed their dog while they were gone.  I think I will make some banana rum balls!!!  That's another day's project.

Joe & I went to Pittsburgh on Saturday for the St Patrick's Day parade.  It was chilly and rainy so we found a nice little coffee shop beside the William Penn Hotel that had a counter in the front window.  How convenient to be inside and dry watching the parade go by...  After the parade we met our friend, Trudie, at Big Momma's House of Soul on Liberty Avenue for some BBQ.  New location for Momma and lots of seating for customers.  And, the food was excellent.  Starting next Saturday there will be jazz from 5 to 8 pm.
I think we will have to go again.  Scratch that.  We are going again!

My "babies" are on vacation in Arizona this week.  I sure wish they could have come to PA for a visit but who wouldn't want to go to the warm southwest instead?  It hard to believe, but it has been 2 years since they were here last...
