It has been almost an entire year without a word from me! Mainly because posting became more like work than fun. I will try to do better.

The summer is slipping by. I want it to last forever. On the other hand, we will be going to Minnesoooota in August and staying through the first week in September. We are takin the boys to the MN State Fair as often as they want to go and staying as long as they like and we are going to eat ourselves silly! Considering that Jake has football every morning and will have to be up early, we won't really be staying at the fair very late in the evenings.

I bought tickets to see Prairie Home Companion at the fair. I have been wanting to see Garrison Keilor for quite some time. This is our chance. Joe & I listen to him most Saturday eveings. The show is very entertaining and since Jake loves acting I think he will enjoy seeing a live radio show. (I just hope the humor is not too off color for the boys.)

Today we went to the Hermitage Arts Festival and DJ's Greenhouse. All of the gardens were open for you to walk around and enjoy. It was quite lovely.
